  • Account Information: Your name, email address, and account credentials when you register for the Crowd Derm pilot.

  • Profile & Demographic Data: Information you choose to provide regarding your age range (Under 25, 25-34, 34-44, 45-54, 55+), skin type, specific concerns (such as texture or fine lines), and regional location data (such as zip code) to generate your starter routines.

  • Lifestyle & Activity Data: Information regarding daily activities that directly impact skin conditions, including sweating frequency, sauna use, and pool/chlorine exposure.

  • Progress & History Data: Information generated during your skin check-ins, including how your skin responds to routines over time.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and improve the App, including:

  • Generating and customizing your morning and evening skincare routines.

  • Analyzing individual skin check-in responses to optimize your personal experience.

  • Aggregated Pattern Analysis: We analyze non-personally identifiable data in the aggregate across user cohorts to discover broader skin health patterns among individuals with similar skin types, age ranges, lifestyles, and locations. This allows us to continuously optimize routine suggestions for the entire Crowd Derm community.

  • Communicating with you regarding technical assistance, support, or pilot updates.

3. Data Sharing, Disclosure, and User Privacy

We do not sell your personal data or skin history to third parties. While we leverage collective, aggregate intelligence to improve our routine suggestions, no personally identifiable information (PII) is ever shared between users. All user-to-user pattern optimization is completely anonymized.

We may only share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our App and conducting our business (such as secure cloud hosting or database management services), strictly under legally binding confidentiality agreements.

4. Account Deletion & Data Removal

We respect your control over your personal data. You have the right to delete your Crowd Derm account and permanently scrub your skin history, profile data, and credentials from our systems at any time.

How to Request Deletion: Please submit a request via our website contact form or directly via email at help@crowdderm.com with the subject line "Account Request". Please explicitly enter your deletion request in the message field, and our team will process your data removal promptly.
